NPO Solutions

The NPcatalyst team recognizes that proper execution of programs and services relies on sufficient voluntary and financial contributions. Strength in support is a direct result of strong organizational management, strategic planning, quality leadership and recognized public awareness. NPcatalyst offers tools and resources to help non-profit leaders move their organizations forward.

The NPcatalyst team, represented by over 20 years of non-profit management experience as well as over 20 years of corporate management leadership, provides the following tools and resources aimed at maximizing success at community-benefit organizations.

HealthCheck

We designed HealthCheck to affect community-benefit organizations in multiple ways, but primarily through driving financial and voluntary support to their organizations. It’s similar to Charity Navigator, which is free, but primarily focuses on financial efficiencies. HealthCheck comes at a $450 investment, and rates charities after thoroughly analyzing five different areas of organizational performance: Data & Efficiency, Finance & Fund Development, Governance, Human Resources, and Public Information. Plus, HealthCheck not only provides rating for each area, but also suggested best practices for improvement. If organizations show proof of improvement, we’ll re-rate at no charge, and update the scores. Participating organizations can promote the overall and individual rating scores to generate interest and support.

Coaching

We’ve chosen to “coach” community-benefit organizations, rather than work as “consultants”. For one, coaching is much more affordable and, we believe, places greater immediate benefit. Our coaching services are conducted (and priced) on an hourly basis in the areas of:

  • Annual giving – we can speak to 20+ years of annual campaign successes and failures
  • Capital campaigns & feasibility studies – we’ve helped many organizations plan and execute major campaigns
  • Donor prospecting & solicitation strategies – the cornerstone of solid development is relationship building; it begins with strategic prospecting
  • Major giving – dos and don’ts about romancing existing and prospective major supporters
  • Leadership development – engaging board members and key volunteers to meet your board and fund development goals
  • Social media – we utilize this new media to educate, inform, and empower; currently managing several accounts for organizations

Webinars

Our desire is to help as many community organizations succeed as possible. It’s impossible to do that as a consultant or full-time staff. So, in line with our coaching services, we’re organizing webinars as a way to provide resources, tools, and tips to community leaders. These include:

  • Online Giving – using it to amplify your annual giving campaign
  • Board Fundraising – raising funds without directly asking
  • Year-end Giving – it’s time to plan for this annual “forgotten” tool
  • Social Media – it really can generate curiousness, interest, and support

Tapping into these services, including others, will enable your community organization to improve its performance and, in effect, provide a greater impact on your beneficiaries and/or the larger community.
