 
Welcome to Blue Moon Promotions’ One Community grant initiative, which ran from August to October, 2011.
The purpose was to provide direct financial support to organizations striving to meet valid community needs. Up to $20,000 would be granted to an undetermined number of organizations, ranging between $1,000 to $20,000 for the selected organization(s).
UPDATE
The campaign was an incredible success. Managed by NPcatalyst and promoted through using a team effort, which included local PR firm, KPS3, the campaign generated an incredible amount of attention. The end result was the receipt of 162 grant requests from community-benefit organizations from all parts of northern Nevada (and the sierras), providing quality work in all sectors of the greater community.
The final charitable organizations have been selected and a public announcement will be made.

After years of contributing to the local community, the Grimms decided to formalize the process to not only contribute more effectively, but to empower non-profit organizations to reach their goals through stronger performance.
It worked!
