Organization Information

Mission: Since 1986, VSA Nevada has provided quality arts opportunities for ALL focusing on children and adults who have a disability, are disadvantaged, at-risk or under-served by the arts.

In addition, VSA Nevada is reposnible for the thoughtful preservation and year-round use of the Lake Mansion as a cultural and historic site.

Volunteer Needs: VSA Nevada has many "hats" allowing volunteers to partner with the organization in several roles from administration (clerical), maintenance (Lake Mansion and Garden Pavilion), hands-on during open-to-the public arts events and exhibits, tour guides at the Lake Mansion and specific tasks including Information Technology, Marketing, Accounting, Legal and more. VSA Nevada is also interested in volunteers for board and committee positions in fundraising and marketing.

Comment: Group volunteer opportunities can range from cleaning the mansion to assisting during a VSA Nevada Arts Festival for children at the Lake Mansion.
