Organization Information

Mission: TMT is a quality of life improvement nonprofit that engages our community to identify issues,  preferred outcomes & measurable indicators.  TMT then distributes a community wellbeing report card, transforming indicator data into real stories--where we have been, where we are now, where we want to go & how we can collaboratively get there.

Seeking Board Members? Yes

Volunteer Needs: Diverse board leadership; Fundraising/grant-writing expertise (familiarity with TMT); Adopt an Indicator voluntary pledges to improve any of the community's 33 quality of life indicators:  https://www.truckeemeadowstomorrow.org/indicators/42.

   -- Youth Risk Behaviors Task Force subcommittees to improve associated quality of life indicators (community collaborative effort to identify engagement policies/educational programs/alternative community activities for implementation & outcomes measurement)

Skills-Based Opportunities? Yes

Comment: Technology-based volunteers to support TMT's Web site & GIS-related data needs.

PR volunteers to continue TMT's eNews & media releases. Expert grant-writing volunteers are needed to assist TMT in researching probably grant opportunities and drafting grant proposals (as well as assisting TMT with local foundation relationships). Volunteers with PR/creative design/media relations expertise.

Comment: Fund development needs are identified through TMT's budgetary resource requirements annually.

Wish List? Yes

Comment: TMT strategic planning is a 5+ year timeframe.  Longer-term gifting has not been a strategy;  however, TMT members donating $250,000 (over a 5-year period) become lifetime members with annual recognition & benefits.  TMT also has a long-range strategy to establish an endowment, pending initiation funding.  However, TMT does not currently have a gift legacy plan in place.
