Mission: Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center is Northern Nevada's premier informal science education facility, serving over 45,000 visitors per year through our programs and exhibits, including nearly 15,000 field trip students. Through community partners, we are expanding our professional development, continuing education, & outreach capabilities.

Volunteer Needs: We are interested in knowledgeable volunteers to assist with our public programming (i.e. live presentations and workshops), as well as volunteers willing to train for docent programs.

Comment: We are able to assist high school students with their service learning projects, and are otherwise open to volunteers of all ages.
