Organization Information

Mission: E-TECHS is a new educational venture that will serve students interested in professional careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, business and medicine.  Our mission is to ensure that students will be given the opportunities, experiences and academic preparation needed for employment and post secondary education upon graduation.

Giving Needs:  Programs, Capital, , Start-up expenses for technology, equipment, and facility improvements

Comment: We are currently developing a fundraising plan.  We are soliciting direct donations to help with start up costs that include facility improvements, and computer/equipment purchases.  We are also working on hosting fundraising events and securing grants.

Wish List? Yes

Comment: We want to purchase the YMCA building on Baring Blvd in Sparks when it goes through the foreclosure process which is anticipated to be in December 2010.

Major Giving? Yes

Comment: To date, we have received one major gift of $10,000 from the Brett & Karen Coleman Foundation and we are currently soliciting matching grants.
