Organization Information

Mission: Bristlecone Family Resources is the oldest and largest non-profit addiction treatment program in northern Nevada. Our mission is to help people reclaim their lives by providing comprehensive addiction and mental wellness treatment services.

Comment: We have several group opportunities available. Our major ongoing project is our Sage-Mart storage facility. We receive donations of clothing, furniture and other household items on a continual basis. The items are used for clients when they successfully complete the program and enter new housing. We do not have the staff resources to keep up with the organization of the building. Many volunteer and service groups help us out once a month by donating their time.

Comment: Computer training for our Back 2 Work program. Any Bristlecone client is eligible for the Back 2 Work program. Many of our clientele are dislocated workers and/or lack skills to compete in the modern market. Computer skills and resume writing are among the things we teach as a part of this program.
