Volunteer Needs: Event Participation: we hold two sporting events per year, planned and coordinated in part by the event committee members who are hands-on with promotion, logistics, and recruitment. "Fight for Air Climb" is a stair climb in April, and "Fight for Air Run" is a walk and run in September (half-marathon, 10K and 5K).

Board member Participation: The American Lung Association Board is a community board, with one representative on the governing board for our five-state region. Board members oversee our community efforts.
