We are a group of average, everyday people who have organized a wonderful nonprofit organization called A Christmas for Kids. We work with various schools in Petaluma, Santa Rosa and Sonoma to locate needy families who might need a little help over the holidays. And we bring Christmas to their doorstep.
Since our founding, we have hosted a fund-raising benefit complete with live music, auction, raffle, and a most-delicious dinner. Last season, these profits allowed us to provide over 1,500 local kids with gifts for the holidays. We shop using each child’s “Wish List” and the children receive everything from bikes and Barbies to nice clothes and warm jackets, all wrapped and delivered by our school volunteers.
