Communities are filled with extraordinary non-profit organizations, as well as people who want to affect the greater good. However, due to busy schedules or focus on critical issues or limitations in reaching out, many “would be incredible” partnerships are not created. Recognizing these obstacles and, at the same time, the multitude of community opportunities, we’re excited to serve as a resource…or…link to making community magic happen.
Creating positive community links will happen by:
- determining the needs, goals and opportunities at community organizations;
- seeking donors and volunteers to help organizations fulfill their missions;
- ascertaining the interests, passions, connections and goals of these donors and volunteers…aka current and aspiring community leaders;
- creating direct connections between non-profit organizations and potential supporters (much like match-making!);
- seeking organizations and their opportunities for these supporters to invest their sweat and financial equity; and,
- training/mentoring both organizations and their supporters on the finer elements of volunteerism and board leadership.
